Why is a professional portrait studio the best for your portrait?

Seniors and families:
If you are thinking of having someone other than a professional studio photographer take your senior or family picture, ask them if they can replace a damaged print in 5-10+ years. We just replaced a 2005 senior's 8x10 print that had sustained water damage. Mom was thrilled to have another beautiful print to display again. At the same time mom reordered an 8x10 black and white print from her 1985 wedding. The original print was in color but she now wanted a black and white print. It was stunning! We archive all of our images and can reproduce more prints for you whenever you need something. Your best friend, neighbor, or whoever you know that thinks they are a photographer since they have a digital camera, probably can't promise you that. We also finish our prints with lacquer spray and drymount the 8x10 and larger prints so they can be framed without glass. The majority of photographers out there today give their customers raw prints as they come from the lab or off their printers.
